You Can't Run From Your Problems

It’s sometimes hard to feel like it’s a wonderful life, isn’t it? It can be especially hard this time of year with all the end-of-year and holiday demands of work and family. Nevertheless, I believe it is possible to put yourself in a wonderful life mindset. As I mentioned last week, one of my favorite holiday movies of all time is “It’s A Wonderful Life.” I’ve decided to theme all this month’s stretch sequences from that movie.

When George and Mary were heading to the train station for their honeymoon, they noticed there was a run on the bank which meant that would create problems for the Bailey Building and Loan. Instead of running off to happy land for their honeymoon, Mary and George made the difficult decision to use their life savings to save the Bailey Building and Loan which ultimately turned out saving the city. They faced their problems and good resulted from that eventually.

We all face headwinds at times and sometimes those headwinds blow us down. I encourage you to stand up to those challenges and tell yourself OUT LOUD, “I’ve got this!” One of the best strategies to get that strength and equanimity is to take some intentional deep breaths and move your body just like we do every week in these videos.
