Stretch Your Way to Productivity
Many people think stretching is only necessary if you exercise. That is not the case. According to Harvard Health, sitting for long periods as we do at work causes your muscles to contract. Then when you need your muscles to do something more than sit, they are tight and uncooperative. Over time, this obsessive sitting can result in all sorts of mobility issues that compromise your productivity and quality of life. The good news is that 5-10 minutes of stretching a day can mitigate this issue.
By popular request, I have created a Range of Motion (Part 2) video for this week. Click here. Enjoy! Next week, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, our stretch theme will be Attitude of Gratitude.
