Hack Your Happiness with Gratitude
I consider myself a “glass half full” person but my positive attitude was shaken to the core in 2020 when COVID rocked our world. One of the things I did to get back on track was develop a gratitude practice. I wrote down three things I was grateful for every single day. Even if I had a bad day, I would still find a few things that made me smile.
This “attitude of gratitude” practice has really helped me to stay focused on the good things in my life and, therefore, feel more happiness. It works and science backs this up!
In the spirit of gratitude, especially this week of Thanksgiving in the US, the stretch video for this week is HACKING YOUR HAPPINESS with gratitude. As an additional resource, I am including a link to a blog post I wrote a couple of years ago. It provides scientific insight on the benefits of gratitude and some ideas on how you can incorporate this into your daily life.
