Creaky And Squeaky (Upper Body) - Express Desk Stretch
Warm Up Your Joints for Better Function
As the weather gets colder you may feel some stiffness in your joints which can make desk work uncomfortable.
Synovial fluid is the shock-absorbing fluid inside your joints. Synovial fluid is usually the consistency of an egg white to allow for proper and fluid joint movement. However, synovial fluid thickens in colder temperatures, which impedes its ability to flow freely. As a result, the joints can become stiff or creaky and squeaky. This week’s and next week’s stretches will warm up those joints and bring you more mobility on and off the job. Enjoy!
